About the role
We are an established engineering company seeking a Procurement Engineer to support our operations through strong engineering knowledge, cost control, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:
– Source and procure engineering materials, components, and services
– Negotiate the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals
– Understand engineering drawings, specifications, and BOM
– Perform cost analysis and control procurement budgets
– Negotiate delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers
– Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
– Previous experience in a similar position (at least 2 years) in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
– Reasonable written and verbal communication
– Great organizational and planning skills.
– The ability to identify market trends and ability to follow client specifications.
– Strong negotiation, contract management and cost control skills
– Familiar with ERP systems and procurement processes
