Kawan Engineering is an industrial heat exchanger manufacturer in Malaysia, providing custom design and fabrication solutions for demanding process, energy recovery, heating and cooling applications.

Our heat exchangers are engineered according to applicable ASME and TEMA requirements. As a member of the Heat Transfer Research Institute (HTRI), we apply established heat-transfer practices to achieve dependable thermal performance, operational efficiency and long service life.

Heat exchangers can also be supplied with Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia certification, subject to the applicable project and statutory requirements.

Oil-to-Oil Economiser (Pressurised Type)

Pressurised oil-to-oil economisers recover heat from process streams and transfer it to another oil circuit. This supports improved thermal efficiency, lower energy consumption and better process heat utilisation.

 

Oil-to-Oil Economiser (Vacuum Type)

Vacuum-type oil-to-oil economisers are engineered for heat-recovery applications operating under vacuum conditions. Each unit is designed according to the required duty, process conditions and applicable engineering standards.

 

Steam Condenser

Kawan designs and fabricates industrial steam condensers for the efficient condensation of steam and recovery of thermal energy. Designs can be customised according to the required pressure, temperature, capacity and installation arrangement.

 

Spiral Heat Exchanger (SHE)

Spiral heat exchangers offer efficient heat transfer within a compact footprint. Their continuous flow-path configuration makes them suitable for challenging fluids and applications where fouling resistance and ease of maintenance are important.

 

Dimple Plate Heat Exchanger

Dimple plate heat exchangers provide effective heating or cooling through a compact heat-transfer surface. They can be integrated into tanks, vessels and process equipment where space efficiency and uniform heat distribution are required.

 

Air-Cooled Heat Exchanger (ACHE)

Air-cooled heat exchangers provide efficient process cooling without relying on a continuous cooling-water supply. They are suitable for industrial facilities where water availability, operating cost and maintenance are important considerations.
