Pressure Vessel

As one of Malaysia’s leading pressure vessel fabricators, Kawan holds ASME “U”, “U2”, “H” and “S” Stamps, as well as the National Board “R” Stamp. We are licensed by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia to design, construct and repair boilers, fired and unfired pressure vessels, and heat exchangers. Kawan is also ISO 9001 certified.

Kawan Engineering is an experienced pressure vessel manufacturer and fabricator in Malaysia, providing custom-engineered pressure vessels for industrial applications worldwide. Our pressure vessels are designed and fabricated in accordance with internationally recognised standards, including ASME Section VIII, PED requirements and applicable DOSH Malaysia requirements.

We manufacture reactors, process columns, deaerators, ammonia vessels, separators, filters, strainers, surge vessels, chilled water buffer tanks, thermal energy storage tanks and calorifiers. Our solutions serve the food processing, oleochemical, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, renewable energy, water treatment, data centre, and oil and gas industries.

Our material capabilities include carbon steel, stainless steel (304/L, 316/L, 310S, 317L & 904L), Duplex SS (UNS S32205) and Super Duplex SS (UNS S32750), Hastelloy, and titanium. Internal lining options include glass-lined, PTFE, FRP and rubber.

Operating across four factories with a combined land area of 45,000 m² and approximately 20,000 m² of covered workspace, we produce more than 500 tanks annually. Our facilities feature automated polishing, dish-end forming, orbital and plasma welding, and automatic TIG welding.

Chilled Water Buffer Tank / Thermal Energy Storage Tank

Designed for data centre and other HVAC/industrial cooling systems, these tanks stabilise chilled water flow, manage load fluctuations, and store thermal energy for reliable operation.

Industrial calorifier

Custom calorifiers and hot water tanks for reliable heated-water storage and supply.

Surge Vessel

Designed for water treatment plants to control pressure fluctuations and prevent water hammer, protecting pipelines and equipment for stable system operation.

Filter Vessel

Fabricated for industrial water treatment applications, including multimedia, activated carbon, sand and ion-exchange filters, with epoxy coating or rubber lining for corrosion protection.

Storage Tank

Custom-fabricated in carbon or stainless steel for storing water, chemicals and industrial liquids, with optional internal linings and protective coatings.
